“I don’t think the beast has gone down to Florida yet,” the pet owner said.

“What do you mean?” Justin said.

“I think the lion might have escaped. He may be somewhere in New York right now.”

“Are you serious? What if it kills someone? You have to be more careful with cages!”

“It wasn’t my fault! It was the guy at the gas station!”

“What guy? Which gas station?”

“The one two blocks away. One of the guys that worked there has been wanting a pet lion for awhile now. He was banging on the cage to try to get the lion’s attention, and it ran into the streets! I shouldn’t have let him touch the stupid cage. I hate him so much now.”

“Well, we have to find it now! There’s no time for hating people! I don’t want anyone to be hurt! What do we do?”

“I can call animal control!” As the pet owner went to get his iPhone out, he dropped it. The screen shattered and his phone did not work anymore. He was furiously walking back and forth as he was regretting his life. “I knew iPhones would break easily. Why the heck did I buy one? Why didn’t I buy a case? I hate life. Life sucks.”

“Hey dude,” Justin said, “just use my phone and you’re fine! No need to be mad, you need some chill.”

“I need chill? There could be a murder going on right now! Of course nobody has time for chill! Give me your phone!” the pet owner said. He snatched Justin’s phone and starting to call animal control.

“Sorry,” Justin said. “Here’s my phone.” As Justin gave the pet owner his phone, he dropped it.

The pet owner was starting to go crazy. “Are you serious? How am I supposed to call animal control now? I do not want anybody to die! The only thing that should die is that freaking lion!” After a few seconds of walking around, Justin saw something huge and yellowish sitting at the side of his truck. It was sleeping and yawning. He slowly walked towards it, not knowing what it was. Then, he realized what that was.

“Hey, look! There’s something cute and fuzzy over there!” Justin said. The pet owner started to smile.

“OH. MY. GOSH. YES! NOBODY DIED! YEAH! COME HERE KITTY!” the pet owner screamed. He was filled with a rush of happiness, and the lion was filled with a rush of sleepiness.

“Calm down! Don’t yell, or the lion’s going to hurt you,” said Justin.

“Don’t worry, he’s sleeping,” the pet owner said. The pet owner drove his truck and pushed the lion into the cage. “He’s a bad boy, so we better keep him in the cage at all times. This lion would never possibly harm someone with this cage around him. I’m sure that he’ll make it to Florida now. I don’t ever want to see him again.”

“Me too,” Justin replied. “Those things are scary, especially seeing one in the middle of a city. I hate lions. I hope I’ll never see him again.” The second those words came out of his mouth, the lion’s eye opened. The lion did not know where he was. He felt chills throughout his body. He has fully awaken, and decided to jump up high in the air, breaking out of the cage, and landed on the pet owner and Justin. They tried to scream for help, but did not say anything afterwards. The lion was never seen again.
