The snippet for this month came out of nowhere. When I hear something on the street, I add it to my Notes app, but on this occasion, it was so startling, I don’t remember where it came from; “Maybe there was a little blip of a heartbeat.”
I’ve thought quite a bit about the context, but I just didn’t hear enough to know whether they were paramedics after the end of an emergency, whether it was two friends talking about a failed relationship, whether it was a pet that was dying. I have no clue. So now it’s up to you to tell us what’s going on here.
