It’s hard to get away from private conversations when you’re walking down the street in New York City. So many people have a phone plastered to their ear, speaking so loudly it’s impossible not to hear them as they walk by.

Yesterday I was walking down 7th Avenue at 35th Street. It was one of those days where the cold snap had everyone bundled up against sub-freezing temperatures. That didn’t stop the guy behind me from giving a full volume diatribe against the company he was working for, his phone held up against his ear muffs, practically shouting, “Between you, me and the wall, I don’t know what to do!” I guess I was considered “the wall” in this scenario.

It’s up to you. What was going on? Why was he so frustrated? It’s all yours… take it away.
