“We’ve never done anything together that I’ve actually cared about.”

“I was only using Carlton for his money and all those designer dresses!” She said.

“Babe, can we stop doing this now. You’ve had enough fun in the past 2 weeks and it’s time to stop.” I tried to tell her.

“But what about those cute dresses? And those fancy restaurants that he took me to?”

I was stunned, and looked at this girl in front of me. A sudden unfamiliarness started to hit me; I felt like she was not the girl that I knew. I stormed off and went straight into the bedroom.

That night, I went out to grab a drink, walking alone on the Las Vegas streets. I heard someone behind me, saying “Honey, he would never know. He’s probably sleeping in the hotel and dreaming about my love for him!” It sounded so familiar. I looked back and saw my girlfriend with a guy in a full Gucci track suit, saggy pants, and a triple gold chain on his neck. Seeing that guy, I did not rage. I pretended like just someone who passed by.

I waited in our hotel room, sat on the couch, just to see her reaction.

She walked in, “Babe, why aren’t you asleep yet.”

I asked where she went.

“Babe I was just hanging out with a few friends.”

I didn’t say anything, and confronted her with a picture.

“Were you stalking me? You are such a creep!” she said.

I gave up trying, “Maybe you should move out with your rich guy out there. We went on this bachelor’s trip because we were about to get married, but now I don’t know if that’s going to happen…”

She slammed the door and left, we have not said anything since then.
