“You can’t trust me because I can’t trust you!”

“We are supposed to be a team!”

“You should have thought about that before you called the cops!”

“Oh that’s what this is about?”

“What else would it be about?”

“Why are you so ignorant, you know exactly why I had to call the cops.”

“I had it under control.”

“No you didn’t! You were a mess.”

“Well that’s to be expected when your partner abandons you.”

“I didn’t abandon you! My daughter was sick and you know that!”

“Of course I know that! That’s the whole reason we did this!”

“That wasn’t your reason.”

“I could have found another way to save my house, there was no other way to save your daughter.”

“I have an easy solution to saving your house, divorce.”

“Ya I know, I know exactly what you think. Do you have any grand ideas to save your daughter?”

“Well no.”

“Excatly! Hence why we did this. You calling the cops on me made everything worse for both of us, not to mention didn’t do a thing to save your daughter.”

“You were going insane! You were crazy! You were off the rails! You had to be stopped!”

“The only thing that will stop now is your daughter’s life.”

“You are the only thing in the way of her life now! Just give me the key and we can save her!”

“Ya you’ll save her, while I get sent to prison. I won’t get a divorce in there, I can’t raise my son there.”

“Just give me the key!”

“Why, so you can go save your daughter while my son has to live with his dad and I rot in a cell? Not a chance.”

“I’ll make sure he’s safe! Just please give me the key!”

“No you won’t, why would I believe that?”

“Because we are friends, I wouldn’t put him in any danger.”

“You already have! We used to be friends.”

“Just give me the key!”

“No, we made our beds, now we will bleed in them.”

“What about our kids!”

“I guess they’ll have to bleed along with us.”

“You are a terrible person.”

“We are terrible people.”

“You really think I’d let you go to prison? You’re not going to prison.”

“Sure you’d call the cops, but you’d never let me go to prison.”

“You’re not in jail now are you?”

“No and we both know who’s responsible for that.”

“Well I’m sure he wouldn’t let you go to prison either.”

“Hes losing power, the FBI is closing in on him, and now thanks to you, me.”

“I had to stop you from doing something you’d regret.”

“I wouldn’t have regretted it, because it was for you, and your daughter.”

“Then hand over the key, because I know for certain that you will regret not.”

“I don’t have it.”

“What?”

“The key is gone, he took it.”

“Why?”

“As collateral, for posting bail.”

“He can’t do that! We earned that! He can’t just take it all!”

“He doesn’t play by any rules but his own.”

“Why would you agree to that deal?”

“It wasn’t a deal. He just took it. He couldn’t have me in jail, so he bailed me out.”

“That’s not fair, he didn’t even give you a choice.”

“Don’t you see? We don’t get to make choices.”

“So what do we do now?”

“Like I said, bleed.”
